Marriage Issues: Man butchers wife to death in Kumasi Nyenkyerenease (Video)

Man identified as Maxwell Boadu has killed his wife after butchering her in the wee hours of Saturday 16th October at Nyenkyerenease in Kumasi.

The deceased Priscilla Owusu, 31, was a trader at the Sofoline Market in Kumasi, while the husband had been a CD seller for some time.

According to an eyewitness Maxwell who’s currently at large after committing the crime immediately jumped over the fence of the house and run away around 12:30 am.

An eye witness speaking with Kessben FM’s reporter said she heard an unusual sound coming from the room of the husband and wife which prompted her to find out what was happening.

“Usually I go to bed very much early. Around 12:00 midnight I heard a noise coming from their room so I woke up and saw the man coming out from his room.

I saw blood on the hands of the man. I asked him, he didn’t mind me, went straight to the gate and left as I started calling for help.

People came and they entered the room and found out that the wife has been stabbed multiple times. We had to look for a car and took her to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital. The Doctor confirmed she’s dead” She said.

A relative of the deceased, Rev Justice speaking with Kessben TV revealed that there have been some marital issues in their marriage which he has tried solving in the past months.

According to Rev Justice, the husband had accused the wife of cheating several times but his claims appear to be unfounded.
