Kwame Poku: Nkoranza Warriors at the neck of Kotoko for their 15% onwards transfer fee

The division one club has written to Kumasi Asante Kotoko demanding their 15% from the sale of Kwame Poku from Asante Kotoko to USM Alger.

The Algerian side purchased the former Nkoranza Warriors striker from Kumasi Asante Kotoko for a transfer fee of €300,000.

A deep throat source has confirmed the full trench of the transfer fee has hit the account of the Kumasi Asante Kotoko after Kotoko reported the Algerian club to FIFA.

Kwame Poku’s former club Nkoranza Warriors is due 15% of the total transfer fee of the forward.

The Ghana Football Association takes their mandatory 10% of the transfer fee while the agent who brokered the deal also bags 10% from the €300,000.

The former Kotoko forward joined the Algiers-based side in April 2021 for a four-and-a-half-year contract.
