Man,60 butchers son over palm wine

A father has butchered his son known as Isaac Kwame Tetteh over a misunderstanding that ensued concerning palm wine.

An eyewitness reporting on Kessben FM’s Breaking News with Ali Baba Dankambari said the misunderstanding between the family of Isaac Tetteh begun with his brothers when they were working on a palm tree to extract palm wine.

According to the eye witness, Isaac Teteh while working on the palm tree realized a heavy workload, therefore, went to hire another person to assist them.

The idea to have an extra hand seemed not to have gone down well with his brothers thus causing misunderstanding. Having been exhausted from working, Isaac sought rest in the veranda of his father’s house.

While he was taking a nap, his father suddenly pounce on him with a machete. Isaac Teteh had to quickly run for his life and was subsequently sent to the hospital for medical treatment as blood was heavily oozing from his head.

It is believed the father of Isaac butchered him because of his decision to have hired another person to assist in the palm wine tapping. Reports from Assin Nyaberiam where the incident took place indicate Issac is currently in a critical condition due to the deep cuts he suffered.
