I was not psychologically & emotionally stable at a point in Kotoko but I leave with no pain – Felix Annan

Goalkeeper Felix Annan has officially parted ways with Kumasi Asante Kotoko following a mutual decision by both parties on Thursday, 16th September 2021.

The loyal Goalkeeper leaves the Kumasi-based football club after 10 years of dedicated service to the porcupine warriors.

Speaking on the Mid-field Action sports program with Joe Laka on Kessben TV/FM, Felix revealed the decision to mutually part ways with the club he loves so much didn’t come easy.

“It is true I have mutually parted ways with the club. Sat with them and we discussed it and we took the decision. I have to take on a new challenge.”

”I have served the club quite well so I want to move on and pick up a new challenge. It is not out of anger and I’m not leaving out of pain or regret.”

”I’m not leaving because of anyone at the club but as a human, I wanted a new challenge and a new adventure. I wasn’t psychologically and emotionally stable at a point. When the season came to an end, emotionally I felt I had to move.”
