Prof Joshua Alabi & Ofusu Ampofo wants the downfall of Mahama – Atubiga
Former member of the National Democratic Congress, Stephen Atubiga has advised former president John Dramani Mahama not to contest for the NDC flagbearership position ahead of the 2024 general elections.
According to Stephen Atubiga, there’s an internal cabal within the NDC party scheming agaisnt Mahama. The dismissed member of the NDC Party mentioned the names of Ofosu Ampofo and Professor Joshua Alabi as leading executives within the party who are against Mahama but are just being hypocrites to let the public know the truth.
Speaking on Accra-based Kessben 92.9 FM, Stephen Atubiga stressed that for someone who has been an Assembly man, member of Parliament, Vice president, President, and now a former president he does not see why such a man has to still worry to become a president again.
Atubiga continued that John Mahama does not have anything to offer again thus adviced he should not contest for flagbearership position of the NDC party.
“I will advice him to stop contesting for the flagbearership position of the NDC party, he’s got nothing to offer again. Unless he tells us he’s coming to do what’s has never been done before” Atubiga said on Maakye.
“Those following him are just hypocrites. They want to finish the man. 90% of them do not want to him. There’s an internal cabal within the party. This includes Ofosu Kwakye and Professor Joshua Alabi. He should just go and enjoy the rest of his life with his heavily endowed beautiful wife” He added.
