”Do or Die” Comment: John Mahama is depressed – Yaw Adomako Baafi
Communication member of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Lawyer Yaw Adomako Baafi has stated that former President John Dramani Mahama might be suffering from depression following his recent ‘do or die’ comment.
Former President Mahama in a recent radio interview with Akina Radio categorically stated that 2024 elections will be a ‘do or die’ affair at the polling stations.
His comment has since generated negative reactions from the political circles. Many have condemned what he said while a group of people are in support of the statement of the former President Mahama.
Lawyer Yaw Adomako Baafi reacting to the comment of the former president, said, John Mahama is suffering from depression.
“He was an Assembly member, he became a member of Parliament, he became a minister, he became a vice president and became a president. What at all does he want again to have said 2024 elections will be ”do or die” affair, I think he’s depressed. John Mahama is suffering from depression” Lawyer Yaw Adomako Baafi said on Accra-based Kessben 92.9 FM.
The former president John Dramani Mahama has come out to defend his comment following the backlash. According to the NDC flagbearer, his comment was just an idiomatic expression that has been taken out of context.
