Host of ”Maakye” on Kessben FM/TV, Omanhene Yaw Adu Boakye wants to see a change in the voting patterns in the Ashanti Region and the Volta region.
The Ashanti Region and the Volta Region have been the strongholds for the two major political parties in Ghana, the NPP, and the NDC.
Omanhene Yaw Adu Boakye reckons the two parties have taken these two regions for granted for quite a long and is time for the electorate to change their voting patterns.
The outspoken journalist bemoaned that these two regions do not see any magnificent development when their parties come to power because of the obvious reason that, it is their stronghold, and therefore no matter how they perform they will still vote for them in the next election.
“I want to see a massive change in how Ashanti Region and Volta Region will vote in the 2024 elections.”
Always you’ve been voting for them, you see no development and in the next election you will go and vote massively for them again and after the elections, they will disappoint you. No, that shouldn’t be so, in 2024 I want to see a change from that”
