The first time I confronted Kennedy Agyapong, he couldn’t say anything – COP Bright Oduro, Fmr CID boss
Former Director-General of the Police Criminal Investigation Department, COP Bright Oduro has revealed what transpired when he first confronted the member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong about constant insult on his persona.
The lawmaker has over the years criticize COP Bright Oduro since he was appointed as the boss of the criminal investigation department.
Kennedy Agyapong is on record to have said the former CID boss was allegedly using land guards to operate with his vested interest.
COP Bright Oduro speaking in an interview with Omanhene Yaw Adu Boakye on Kessben 92.9 FM’s ‘Maakye’ said he could not phantom why the lawmaker always criticized him.
He noted that he’s never met the lawmaker before and added that, he has no scores to settle with the member of Parliament.
“I worked for 9 months as the head of the criminal investigation department, during my time as the boss of at CID, there were a lot of criticisms particularly from Kennedy Agyapong. Most of the time, he was on his radio and TV stations attacking me. I didn’t know why he was doing that. I have never met him. On one of their programs, I called him, he did not pick, he called me back and I introduced myself to him and asked him why he has been insulting me, he could not say anything”. COP Bright Oduro said.
