Aspiring Presidential candidate of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Hon. Joe Ghartey, has stated that God is at the centre of everything he does.
According to Hon. Ghartey who is a devoted Christian, “God Orders my steps in everything I do.”
He made this known in an interview with Omanhene Yaw Adu Boakye on Kessben FM’s ‘Maakye’.
He spoke about how through the Grace of God he was able to become both the youngest and longest-serving attorney general and Minister of Justice under former President John Agyekum Kufuor’s time.
He also revealed how during the second term of the NPP in opposition, he was the second deputy speaker of Parliament due to the blessings of God.
By God’s grace, he said President Nana Akufo-Addo made him Railways Development in his first term.
“Anything that happens on this Earth, I thank God, God knows best,” he said.
Hon. Ghartey has never shy away from attributing his success as a politician to the Grace of God.
Also, he has constantly called for compassion among Ghanaians, urging all and sundry to gentle and kind in their dealings with one another as children of the Almighty God.
