Stop asking too many questions and embrace Agenda 111 project – Joe Ghartey
Member of Parliament for Essikado Ketan, Hon. Joe Ghartey is calling on some Ghanaians to put away the attitude of skepticism with regards to the Agenda 111 project by President Nana Addo’s government.
The former railway minister reckons the initiative is one of the very best initiatives the health sector has seen thus calls on Ghanaians to embrace it.
Speaking in an interview on Kessben FM’s ‘Maakye’ morning show with Omanhene Yaw Adu Boakye, the former deputy speaker called on the masses to embrace the initiative rather than asking too many questions about the feasibility and funding of the project.
“You know me very well, if you do something good, I will commend you and even if you are in my party and you do something bad, I will tell you in your face. Agenda 111 is a good project. We must embrace it and stop asking where we’re going to get the money from and all those too many questions about the project” He stressed.
The Agenda 111 project will include 101 district hospitals, six regional hospitals in the newly created regions, two specialised hospitals in the middle and northern belts, as well as a regional hospital in the Western Region and renovation of the Effia-Nkwanta Regional Hospital.
Official sod cutting for the project commencement was held at Trede in the Ashanti region on 17th August 2021, the project is scheduled to be completed after 15 months.
