Kotoko Board fight over meeting venue, some members planning vote of no confidence – full gist

The BoD members of Kumasi Asante Kotoko couldn’t unanimously agree to a place for their scheduled Bod meeting, Kessbenonline.com has learnt.

The place for the meeting became a bone of contention among the Board of directors of the Kumasi-based football club.

Some members of the board insisted that the meeting which was scheduled for Tuesday, 24th August 2021 should be held in Accra while a section of the board shot the idea down.

A section of the BoD members noted that since the club is based in Kumasi, it is only right for the meeting to be held in Kumasi. Those who were on the other end also argued that since most of the BoD members are Accra-based, the meeting should be held in Accra.

Meanwhile, snippets of information gathered indicate some members of the BoD are not happy with Dr. Kwame Kyei style of leadership thus contemplating passing a vote of no confidence in the BoD chairman.

Subject to any last-minute changes, information available to us points out the meeting will come off Thursday 26th August 2021. The location for the meeting is yet to be known.
