Dr. Kwame Kyei report 3 self-acclaimed Kotoko fans to the CID
Information available to Kessben Sports indicates that the Board Chairman of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Dr. Kwame Kyei has handed the viral tape of an alleged match-fixing to the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ghana Police.
An audio surfaced online days ago purporting the BoD chairman of the Kumasi-based football club was working to ensure Kotoko lose a game.
In the three minutes audio conversation, the name of Dr. Kwame Kyei was mentioned together with the former General manager of the club, Yves Coker, and the former operations manager Perusha.
Upon strict study, it has been found out the audio was made up just to tarnish the image of the BoD chairman, Dr. Kwame Kyei. Kessben Sports have learned, the BoD chairman will not let this slide as he has reported the issue to the CID for the people who were behind to be dealt with.
A deep throat source from Dr. Kwame’s office revealed that there have been three suspects, for now, sadly these suspects are people who claim to be lovers of the club.
Special assistant to the BoD chairman, Dr. Kwame assured that they shall get to the root of the issue to have their names cleared and ensured that the faceless cowards are dealt with.
“We shall get to the root of the audio this time and I will prefer no one intervenes since I’m going to be stubborn this time to rescue my smeared reputation” Coker posted on Facebook.
