I’m starving at home so I posted my comment out of pain – Justice Blay

Medeama SC midfielder, Justice Blay has explained the rationale behind a WhatsApp post seemingly taking a swipe at his employers.

A screenshot of his WhatsApp post which sounds very denigrating to the Owner of the club has since gone viral on social media.

In the post, the player said he does not feel appreciated because he is currently nursing an injury. According to the player in the said WhatsApp post, his club does not really care about injured players citing himself as an example.

The post has generated much fury from the owners of Medeama SC but the player is however not perturbed that much.

“On my injury, I can now walk. The Doctor says I should be running for now. I posted that but is nothing bad. I wrote that because of the pain I am going through. I’m Injured, and I’m at home. I have to eat. My salary has not come and I heard the owner of the club has been sending salaries through MoMo to the players at national team camp so had to call him(Moses Parker) to send mine as well but he said for us, ours will be paid through the bank, and I’m still waiting, it hasn’t come.

I called him yesterday, it was because I’m in pain, I’m starving and that made wrote it yesterday. They looked after me well when I got injured. I can apologize, is not about the injury, if I did not do the right thing, they should forgive me. I don’t wanna leave. I want to stay at Medeama” Justice Blay said on Kessben FM/TV
