Ghana star Asamoah Gyan taking coaching badges
The Ghanaian Icon has revealed his ambition to step into football managerial role.
Gyan, 35, who is yet to announce his retire from both International football and club football has begun steps to acquire his first coaching certificate. He has opted to be on the touchline when he finally call it a quit.
Junior brother of Baffour Gyan will participate in the next coaching course to be held by the Ghana Football Association Technical Directorate.
Per the regulations, Ghana’s all time leading goal scorer (51 goals) will study for the CAF License “B” coaching certificate since he is professional footballer.
The former Sunderland, NorthEast United, Kayserispor, SH SIPG, Al-Ahli (UAE), Al-Ain FC, Stade Rennais, Udinese and Modena attacker after securing his first License will continue for CAF License “A” within three years.
Currently, he trades with Ghana Premier League side Legon Cities FC.
