Accra Hearts of Oak have not paid the players and the technical team which clinched the Phobians a double for the season, Kessben sports can exclusively report.
Sports analyst, Andy Kerm, a member of Kessben sports on Tuesday’s edition of ”Midfield Action” divulged that the Accra-based football club have not paid the players and the technical team their July Salaries.
“As I am speaking right now, today is 17th August 2021, Accra Hearts of Oak haven’t paid the July salary of the players”
In reacting to the report, a board member of Accra Hearts of Oak, Alhaji Akambi called on to the programme to speak about the issue of the bonuses and salaries of the players.
Alhaji Akambi however could not deny the claims made by the sports journalist but had to say that it is not news if Hearts haven’t paid the salaries of the players. The outspoken BoD member also claimed that there are even journalists in Ghana who have their salaries delayed for months so is no big news if Hearts of oak are owing to the double-winning squad one month salary.
