Kumasi Asante Kotoko head coach Prosper Ogum Narteh has spoken about his reported resignation from Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

The Former WAFA trainer met with the Board members of the club on Monday 25th July 2022 over the recent impasse between him and the management of the club.

Otumfuo’ Ankobiahene, Kwame Baffour Kusi, a member of the Asante Kotoko’s BoD speaking after their meeting on Kessben TV told Joe Laka that they extended an invitation to the coach, Prosper Ogum Narteh and the CEO, but Nana Yaw Amponsah did not show up.

Kwame Baffour Kusi noted that the coach told the BoD his side of the whole story revealing that ( the coach ) said he is resigning because of what the management what been doing to him.

The Ankobiahene distanced himself from delving deep into what the coach told them but assured that the BoD will further meet the management and hear their side of the story.

According to him, the issues are resolvable and thus is likely the coach will stay on as the head coach of the club.

“We invited Nana Yaw Amponsah to the BoD meeting today but he did not show up.

The Coach said he is resigning because of what the management has been doing to him over the last few months, that’s what Ogum told us today in the meeting. We are yet to hear from the management, we are waiting to hear from them ( management) if what the coach said is true.

The issues are resolvable and it’s possible for the coach to stay” he said.
