Police’s assault on a Journalist at Bortianor being investigated

The Ghana Police has said that it has come to their attention of an alleged assault on a journalist at Bortianor in Accra, by some men believed to be Police personnel over a misunderstanding in connection with a land.

That the said parcel of land is allegedly being claimed by two parties, one of whom is said to be police personnel.

The Police Administration hereby wishes to inform the public that investigation has commenced into the case.

“And therefore, urges anyone who has credible information that could assist in the investigations to contact the nearest Police station or call the following numbers: 18555 or 191 or send a WhatsApp message to the Police number 0206639121,” a statement said on Friday August 13.
