C/R: Woman Found Dead on her farm
A 55-year-old woman, Abena Kwenuwa has been found dead on her farm at Enyan Abaasa in the Ajumako Enyan Essiam District in the Central Region.
According to information available to Kessben Media Central Regional correspondent, the deceased is reported to have left home last Sunday evening without informing anyone and never returned home.
She was then found dead Monday evening upon several searches conducted.
Her husband Okyeame Kwegyere with some of the residents decided to searched for the deceased which they thought she has traveled to her homework Breman Essiam also in the same Ajumako Enyan Essiam District but later found out she was not there.
They later decided to search in her farm which is not far from their house and saw her source pan which she used to carry farm produce.
They decided to continue searching the farm to locate her where about.
They later went home and reported the case to the Enyan Abaasa Police who mounted another search on the farm and found the lifeless body on the farmland.
Police inspection found out no cut or wound on the body. The Police have deposited the body at Etuafoa Mortuary at Ajumako Mando. The Ajumako Essiam District Police have commenced an investigation into the matter.
Meanwhile, the head of the family of the deceased husband has denied the allegation that the husband was the one who killed the late wife and dumped her on the farm.
He told Nana Kwaku Tawiah, Central Regional correspondent of Kessben Media that the media and people should refrain from such allegations since police have taken the matter up to bring the culprits to book.
