Don’t think ‘#FixTheCountry’ campaigners are NDC members – Omanhene to NPP
Popular Broadcaster and host of Kessben FM’s morning show (Maakye), Omanhene Yaw Adu Boakye has cautioned the New Patriotic Party not to label all the campaigners of Fix The country as NDC members.
It could be recalled that after several attempts by the police to stop the ‘#FixTheCountry’ demonstrations, the campaigners were later given the approval to embark on their protest.
The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) has accused the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) of being the brain behind the recent #FixtheCountry demonstration held in Accra by some Ghanaians.
But commenting on the demonstration, Omahene advised the NPP government not to consider the protesters as NDC supporters.
‘The New Patriotic Party should not see #Fixthecountry campaigners as NDC members.’ He said.
“Ghanaian youth do not need NDC to know that things are hard in the country.” He added.
