Atwima Kwanwoma MP supports ten police stations with motorbikes in the district
To effectively fight crime and its related activities in Atwima Kwanwoma District of the Ashanti Region, the member of parliament for the constituency and Deputy Minister of Defence, Hon Kofi Amankwaa Manu has supported ten police stations with motorbikes.
Foase, Hwediem, Twedea, Kokoben, and Brofoyedru were among the police stations that received motorbikes from the MP.
The rest are Afasibon, Trede, Heman, Ampatai and Denkyemoaso. Each of the police stations received ten of the motorbikes presented by Hon Kofi Amankwaa Manu on Saturday, July 18, 2021.
The Deputy Minister of Defence during the presentation was optimistic that, the motorbikes will expedite the police activities in the district, especially in their patrol.
After commending the police for making security stringent in such communities, Hon Kofi Amankwaa Manu pledged his continuous assistance to support the district police command whenever he has the strength to facilitate their operation in the area.
Superintendent Oddei Quansah, Foase police commander who received the items, lauded the MP for his support and added that the presentation of the motorbikes have come at the right time which will aid in police patrol in the area.
After asking more from the Minster, Superintendent Quansah, entreated natives of the area to always support the police with information whenever necessary to combat crime and its related activities in the district.
