Nii Armah Ashietey’s lawyer laments, "my life is in danger "
Lawyer for incumbent Member of Parliament for the Klottey Korley Constituency, Nii Armah Ashitey, Gary Nimako, has raised fears of a possible attack on his life by unknown persons.
According to the lawyer, who is representing Nii Armah Ashitey in a lawsuit challenging the election of Dr. Zanetor Rawlings, as the NDC nominee for the Klottey Korley Constituency, he has in recent times been trailed by some unidentified persons whenever he is driving home after work.

In a letter addressed to the High Court to request for an adjournment of the hearing of the suit, Gary Nimako said he has lodged a complaint with the police and is making the necessary security arrangement for his life and that of his family.
He cited an incident where he passed by a police station while he was being trailed, but the police were unable to arrest the unidentified persons because they bolted.
Gary Nimako is known to have been engaged for a number of high profile cases, with the recent one being the NPP’s lawsuit in the same Klottey Korle Constituency, where one aspirant, Nii Noi Nortey, contracted him to represent him in court against his opponent, Philip Addison, also a known lawyer.
