Liverpool owners to attend League Cup final

Liverpool’s ownership group will fly to the UK to attend this weekend’s Capital One Cup final.
Fenway Sports Group’s John Henry, Mike Gordon and club chairman Tom Werner are all expected to be in attendance at Wembley this Sunday when the Reds take on Manchester City in the League Cup decider.
Two of the trio, Henry and Werner, were present when Kenny Dalglish’s side won the 2012 edition against Cardiff City and will now return to England from the US for their first game together since Jurgen Klopp took over as manager in October.
The owners are looking for further improvement from the team that Klopp has revitalised since replacing Brendan Rodgers and will have fingers crossed they can bring with them to English football’s headquarters the form that saw them recently wipe Aston Villa off the park with a 6-0 victory.
