Mahama has compensated me – George Boateng

George Boateng, the NDC man who sought to contest President John Mahama in the party’s Presidential primary last year, has revealed that the President has duly compensated him after the party unfairly disqualified him from that election.
According to him, President Mahama has doled out a huge sum of money to placate him after the raw deal meted out to him by the party.
George Boateng the Oyarifa branch Youth Organizer of NDC made the headlines when he announced his intention to contest President Mahama at the NDC.  He claimed President Mahama has done little to improve the lives of Ghanaians especially the grassroots supporters of the NDC party.
Soon after that some party officials including the General Secretary Johnson Asiedu Nketia asked questions about the mental stability of George Boateng.
He picked forms to take part in the November 7 Presidential contest, but the General Secretary of the party vehemently denied it and insisted what George Boateng had in his possession was a draft copy.
Two administrators in the NDC head office who sold out the nomination form to him were sacked.
A livid George Boateng after his disqualification accused President Mahama of being behind the problems he had with the party.
However speaking to Fiifi Banson on Anopa Kasapa on Kasapa 102.3 FM , George Boateng shocked listeners when he surprisingly started praising President Mahama for the good work he’s doing to improve the lives of Ghanaians.
A shocked Fiifi Banson who could not believe the sudden u turn by George Boateng probed further, following which he disclosed that the President had met him personally and paid him back his filing fee and other expenses he made while trying to contest in the party’s primary.
