I am the best match for Ezanetor – Lawyer Addison

Lawyer Philip Addison, a candidate hoping to represent the New Patriotic Party (NPP) at Klottey Korle Constituency in the November 7 Parliamentary polls has told delegates to vote for no other person apart from him.
According to him, now that the constituency has been presented with Ezanetor Rawlings by the ruling NDC at its parliamentary candidate, the onus now is for the NPP to present a candidate who could overcome the choice of the akatamansonians and win the seat for the elephant family.
In an interaction with a cross section of the delegates at CMB lorry station, Sunday, Mr. Addison said he is the best match for Ezanetor and therefore entreated the decision makers of the Danquah-Busia-Dombo tradition in the constituency to rally their support behind him.
“Now we know who is representing the NDC. Among the candidates contesting for the ticket of the NPP, who do you think can match the NDC candidate? I am the one. So, I would entreat you to spread the news to the other delegates who are not on our side to come onboard”, he noted.
The NPP goes for a re-run of parliamentary primary in the disputed Korle Klottey constituency in the Greater Accra Region on Saturday, February 27, 2016.
This follows a court order after two candidates, Mr. Addison and Nii Adjei Tawiah, had questioned the credibility of the August 21, 2015 polls that saw Valentino Nii Nortey winning by 393 votes against 22 and 19 polled by the duo.
Mr. Addison and Nii Adjei Tawiah had cited flaws in the conduct of the polls and therefore went to court for redress.
The court having reasoned with the two, therefore, granted their wish for a re-run of the polls.
