Ghana in a “serious leadership challenge” – Adei

The former Rector of the Ghana Institute of Management and Professional Administration (GIMPA) Professor Stephen Adei has cautioned political activists against attacking noble individuals who question leadership in the country.

His comment follows attacks on the founder of the International Central Gospel Church Pastor Mensa Otabil by some sympathizers of the governing NDC for urging citizens to take over control of the country.

In an interview with Morning Starr host Nii Arday Clegg Monday, Professor Adei said the country is currently suffering from leadership crisis as a result of excessive partisan politics.

“I think that some people don’t understand what leadership is all about…leadership is about mobilizing the whole nation towards an agenda not I have some light in the village so vote for me.

“Leadership of a nation is not isolated boreholes, roads and other things, they must be done and every government must do it.

“There is a serious leadership challenge that Ghanaians must not put blame on anybody but we must sit down and bring the best brains in Ghana to see how we can as a people move the nation forward”.
