Bisa Kdei explains passionate kiss in "Samina" video
Multiple award-winning songwriter and singer, Bisa Kdei real name Ronald Kweku Dei Appiah has detailed why he kisses often in his music videos, unlike other Ghanaians musicians.
The singer in an interview with Zionfelix.com said most of his songs talk about love hence the need to caress with the lips. Using his newly released music video “Samina” which features Obrafour as a case study, the Best Male Music Video award-winner at 2015 4syte Music Video Awards stated that the kiss was needed to make the story line complete.
“I was acting and with almost all my videos that I shoot, I want things to look real. “Samina” as also another video I wanted things to look real. I was having an engagement and in our tradition, there is no way you can have an engagement with your lover without kissing her.”
He continued that “the director was the person who asked me to do it so nothing more and nothing less. There is no strings attached”
Aside, Bisa Kdei’s “Samina” single off his second studio album “Breakthrough”, Bisa Kdei also kissed an unknown lady in his music video “I Love You” which was shot in America and was released in January 2015.
