Curfew imposed on Tafo as cemetery feud escalates
The Ashanti regional Security Council has declared curfew at Tafo in Kumasi following clashes between Muslims and non-Muslims in the area.
The Chief Executive office of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly Kojo Bonsu and the regional Police commander DCOP Kofi Boakye announced the decision a while ago.
Personnel of the military and Police have taken over affairs in the community.
Over three hundred vehicles have reportedly been burnt in the clashes.
Unconfirmed reports also say four people have been killed in the hostilities which is currently ongoing.
