After find money down the back of his sofa to buy a mere 2,509 square foot apartment in August, the Real Madrid star is reportedly back for where Donald Trump’s parents lived
Cristiano Ronaldo is eyeing up a second apartment in the famous Trump Tower, just months after his first €18.5 million (£11.8m) purchase, according to TMZ.
Located on Fifth Avenue in New York City, the 2,509 square foot loft was snapped up the Real Madrid star in August with the New York Post claiming it previously belonged to Alessandro Proto, the inspiration behind the ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ series.
Just so much going on here already. And Ronaldo is going back for a second serving as TMZ claim the Portuguese now wants to go higher up the Trump chain and buy the property that was once home to Donald Trump’s parents.
Coming in at a reported €23m (£15.9m), Ronaldo wants to have an option on the 63rd floor which boasts 3,700 square feet, far better than the cramped 2,509 he wasted so much money on in August.
TMZ claim Ronaldo has taken the first steps to organise a walkthrough of the apartment but faces competition from other high-profile potential buyers.
However, Ronaldo’s biggest challenge could be Presidential candidate Donald Trump himself who, along with his board, has the final say on who takes ownership of the property.
