Simon Cowell signs Reggie N Bollie

Entertainment magnate and judge of the X Factor UK music reality show, Simon Cowell has signed Ghanaian pair Reggie N Bollie.
Syco Music, founded by Simon Cowell, signed the deal with the duo Wednesday.
The pair emerged second in the 2015 edition of the X Factor UK music reality show in December last year.
Reggie N Bollie made it to the show’s final, alongside Louisa Johnson, with the hope of bagging the £1 million prize money. Louisa beat the Ghanaians to the grand prize.
Shortly after the show, there were reports that Sony Music, which is the parent organisation of Syco Entertainment, was billed to pen a deal with the duo.
Judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, mentor of Reggie N Bollie, had previously said she wanted the pair to be the first signees to her own label.
She had said, “I’m working with them on their album whether they want me to or not. I’m serious. Simon has offered me a label for years but this would be a good act to start with. I think Simon and I need to sit down and have some serious conversations about it.”
Syco Music announced the deal Wednesday and said in a tweet that, Reggie N Bollie “will release their album later in 2016”.
Syco Music, also known as Syco Records, is a subsidiary of Syco Entertainment.
Syco Entertainment is one of the world’s leading global music, film and television production companies responsible for some of the world’s most successful global TV and music franchises.
The label manages several international artistes including One Direction.
