I'll lead UG through a spiritual transformation – Prof. Owusu
The newly appointed Vice Chancellor of the University of Ghana, Professor Ebenezer Oduro Owusu has stated that the university would undergo a spiritual transformation under his leadership.
Prof. Owusu who takes over from Professor Ernest Aryeetey in August this year has also pledged to lead the university with integrity during his first public speech at the Trinity United Church at Legon (TUC) Sunday morning.
“The university will see a spiritual transformation under my leadership”, he said and the congregation responded with an applause.
“You know it is the Lord who has given you that seat, and the Lord knows why he gave you that seat, to use that seat to cause a change in the spiritual life of the university.”
“And that has been the sign leading to the end of the process. So my reign as Vice Chancellor will see a spiritual transformation of the university…I will lead with integrity,” he added.
