Kotoko 1-1 Hearts: Kotoko did far better than the Kadiogo game – Alhaji Yahya Jibril reacts

Former team manager of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Alhaji Yahya Jibril has underscored that it was a much-improved performance from Asante Kotoko as they drew against Accra Hearts of Oak in the Ghana premier league at the Baba Yara Sports stadium.

Asante Kotoko ware knocked out from the CAF champions league by RC Kadiogo at Baba Yara Sports stadium last weekend.

Going into the Accra Hearts of Oak game, the Kumasi-based football club were poised to make up for the shocking exit from the champions with a win against Accra Hearts of Oak.

Yussif Mubarik scored the first goal for Asante Kotoko but Caleb Amankwah levelled for the Accra Hearts of Oak at the 87th minute of the game.

Alhaji Yaya Jibril, speaking after the game said, Kotoko did marvellous well compared to the last performance against RC Kadiogo.
