U17 World Cup: Nigeria and Mail reach semi-finals

Nigeria eased past Brazil 3-0 and Mali edged out Croatia 1-0 to reach the semi-finals of the Under-17 World Cup.
Holders Nigeria once again showed their ruthlessness as they scored all their goals in three first-half minutes to end Brazil’s challenge.
Victor Osimhen, with his eighth goal in five games, Kingsley Michael and Udochukwu Anumudu were the scorers.
For Mali, Sekou Koita struck the winner, and their superb defence has not conceded for almost five hours.
Mali will face the winners of the quarter-final between Belgium and Costa Rica. Nigeria will face either Ecuador or Mexico who meet in the other last-eight tie.
