Manchester United prepared to meet Griezmann release clause to seal transfer

Manchester United are planning to sign Antoine Griezmann next summer and are prepared to meet the player’s release clause, according to reports.
Griezmann, 24, has been in fine form for Atletico this season, with his performances attracting interest around Europe.
And according to Fichajes, United boss Louis van Gaal wants to sign the player next summer as he looks to add some spark to his faltering attack.
It’s claimed that United are aware Atletico will not accept a bid below the Frenchman’s reported £57.8million release clause, although are prepared to meet that asking price having recently shelled out similar fees for the likes of Angel di Maria and Anthony Martial.
