Mahama Cuts Sod For Cocoa Roads Rehabilitation In Brong-Ahafo

President Mahama on Tuesday cut the sod for rehabilitation works on cocoa roads to begin.
The project, costing GH¢ 3 billion under the phase one of five phases programme of reconstruction of cocoa roads nationwide, spanning five years from now to 2020 are being funded by the Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD).
Out of 10 roads that have already been awarded on contract, six of them are located in the Dormaa Central Municipality, the Dormaa East and Dormaa West Districts. The beneficiary roads include the Kofibadukrom junction-Kofibadukrom road, Gambia No. 2-Kyeremasu road, Dormaa-Ahenkro-Nkrankwanta road, Dormaa-Ahenkro town roads, Goaso in the Asunafo North Municipality town roads and the 40 kilometres Tepa-Maabang junction-Goaso road.
