E: Levy: I’m not against tax but what do they use the monies for? – Kumchacha

The general overseer of the Heaven’s Gate Ministries, Nicholas Osei who is widely known as prophet ‘Kumchacha’ says he is not against the country generating revenue from taxes but is worried over how the monies from the taxes are spent.

In a telephone interview on Kessben FM’s Breaking News with Akwasi Ntiamoah, Kumchacha stressed that the people of Ghana have been paying taxes to the state since late Dr. Kwame Nkrumah’s era but the country has not seen massive development through taxes.

According to him, it will be more encouraging to pay the taxes if the monies from taxes are spent well to see good development of the nation.

Kumchacha bemoaned over how a country like Malaysia has overtaken Ghana in terms of development.

He reckons, unfortunately in Ghana, it has been a create and loot situation where those at the helm of affairs are made to enjoy while the citizenry suffers.
