Premier League predictions: Week 34

Every single game still means a huge amount for almost every team in the Premier League now with battles going on all over the pitch. There is still a title race to enjoy, the battle for the top four is far from over, as well as the battle for the other European spots.

Then there is the relegation battle which promises to be one for the ages. The entire bottom half is not out of the woods yet.

Manchester City’s victory over Arsenal last time out means that, while still second, they are the favourites to win the Premier League title and their destiny is in their own hands.

Meanwhile, Newcastle continued to tighten their grip on third with an emphatic 4-1 win away at a hopeless Everton side. Tottenham fought back to draw with Manchester United which was important for their faint hopes of snatching fourth from the Red Devils.

Matchday 34 sees some interesting games from a Champions League perspective as Manchester United host Aston Villa and Liverpool take on Spurs. There is also an absolutely massive relegation clash between Leicester and Everton with both teams currently in the bottom three. Chelsea will look to avoid more embarrassment away at Arsenal on Tuesday.

A win for West Ham at 12:30 on Saturday would almost be enough to secure their place in the Premier League for next season, while another defeat for Nottingham Forest could land them in some serious bother.

Man Utd were very disappointed at throwing a two-goal lead away at Spurs but they should bounce back with a win against in-form Aston Villa. Meanwhile, expect Man City to keep the pace up with a fairly simple win against a Fulham side who now have nothing to play for.

Bournemouth have impressively moved away from the bottom three and they may feel they are over the hill with a win over fellow strugglers Leeds United. The top four fight will continue to be shaken up if Newcastle and Liverpool both win, at the expense of Tottenham.

There will be two very nervous sets of fans at the King Power on Monday night to see Leicester vs Everton, and Arsenal should bounce back against a hapless Chelsea side.
