Second LMVC demo: Police secures another Court injunction

The Police have once again secured a court order against the second protest by the pressure group, Let My Vote Count (LMVC) and their counterparts.

The group has slated another demonstration for next week Tuesday as part of their push for the creation of a new Voters’ register ahead of the 2016 elections.

An initial protest by the group last week turned bloody as they clashed with the police over the routes. One of the protesters Justice Adzakumah lost his eye in the scuffle.

Leadership of the group claim they are being frustrated by the Police.

Meanwhile, security analyst Emmanuel Bombande has slammed the Pressure group over the impending protest.

Bombande believes the group can resort to dialogue and presentation of their concerns over the register to the EC instead of hitting the streets.
