Ayew’s quick adaptation to EPL based on intelligence – Martinez

Everton manager Roberto Martinez has touted Ghanaian winger Andre Ayew as an “intelligent” player after the 25-year-old successfully adapted to the English Premier League. Ayew, who is preparing for another stunning display against Martinez’s charges on Saturday, has so far scored 3 goals in 5 appearances for Welsh club. The Deputy Black Stars Captain’s impressive performances for Swansea recently earned him the EPL Player of the Month and the EPL African Footballer of the Month accolades.

“He’s been very impressive. You don’t often get that sort of adaptation so quickly. You need to be a very intelligent human being away from being a footballer to do that. He has adapted to the physicality of the league, he is a clever footballer, technically very gifted and he gets in very good goal scoring positions and is calm and composed,” Martinez told the Everton official website.
