Promzy among top 10 rappers on BET competition

Ghanaian rapper Promzy Afrika is among the top 10 rappers who qualified for the next stage of the ongoing BET Award associated rap competition, Who Wants To Make It, in the United States of America.
Out of 75 rappers who started the competition, the erstwhile member of VIP was the only foreigner who made it to the top 10. He came eighth (8th) on the list and hopes to advance to the next stage of the competition in October.
Who Wants To Make It is an international music contest designed to help independent rappers and singers receive international radio exposure, perform live on TV during the BET Hip-Hop Awards Weekend scheduled for October 2015, and also earn money from shows and endorsements.
The contest, sponsored by 2HotRadio.com, is designed to provide artistes with tremendous exposure and airplay to a global audience.
Followers of the competition have the opportunity to vote for their favourites on www.whowantstomakeit.com. Among other prizes, winners are given the platform to perform live on TV during BET Hip-Hop Awards.
