NDC Primaries: Businessman to contest Twifo Atti Morkwa seat

A renowned businessman and entrepreneur, David T.D Vondee has stated emphatically that he will contest in the Twifo Atti Morkwa constituency primaries of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Mr. David Vondee was the campaign spokes person for the NDC national chairman,Dr. Kofi Portuphy in the long ended special delegates congress.
Mr. Vondee is a native of Twifo Atti Morkwa. He was born, bred and grew up there.

“I will declare my intention to contest on Wednesday August 19th in Cape Coast, and will seek the mandate of the rank and file of the NDC”. 

The seat is currently being held by Samuel Ato Amoah.

The ruling NDC has set November 7 for both its presidential and parliamentary primaries. Filing of nomination forms will open on August 27 and end on September 10.

Meanwhile, women and disabled persons who wish to contest the primaries will have to pay 50 percent of the fixed filing fee of Gh¢10,000.

But anyone willing to contest President Mahama in the upcoming presidential primaries will have to cough out GH₵50,000 as filing fee, a 150 percent increment from the GH₵20,000 charged by the party in 2012.
