Kwaw Kesse does not record songs with content – Kontihene

Ghanaian hiplife artiste, Nana Kontihene, says self-acclaimed ‘King of the Streets’, Kwaw Kesse does not record songs with content and therefore he [kontihene] will by no means consider doing collaboration with him.
The ‘Munumkum’ hitmaker, who was speaking on Pulse TV, said “The kind of songs that I do, Kwaw Kesse will be a wrong artiste to be on them because I record songs with content, he does not”.
Kontihene dismissed rumors there is a rift between himself and the rapper saying “it’s not that I have personal things against him but I don’t just invite any artiste to record with them.”
He continued that, “I’m still praying to see a content-filled song from Kwaw Kesse.”
Kontihene is known for songs like ‘Aketesia’, ‘Asesa’ amongst others.
According to him, the songs that are recorded by the younger generation don’t have good content. He went further to say that their goal is just to keep people dancing instead of inspiring.
“Recording evergreen songs take a lot of inspiration but try to do content-filled music that your kids can relate to,” he reiterated.
