Chelsea officials fly to Italy to complete £10m signing of 'new Michael Essien'

CHELSEA officials are jetting to Italy to secure the signing of Godfred Donsah.

The 19-year-old midfielder is on Jose Mourinho’s wish list after a slugging start to the season.
Chelsea have taken just one point from their opening two games and cracks have begun to appear.

And the Portuguese is keen to re-energise his squad with a move for Donsah.
The Ghana born Cagliari star moved to Italy in 2012, joining Palermo before a loan spell at Verona.
He joined Cagliari in 2014 and is thought to be valued at £10million.
He has been described as the “new Michael Essien”.
