Goil fuel tanker catches fire at Ashaley Botwe

A fuel tanker on Wednesday caught fire at the Ashaley Botwe Goil station after it arrived to offload fuel.
However, the timely intervention of personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) prevented an explosion of the Goil fuel tanker.
No one was injured in the incident that compelled residents around to abandon their homes and shops for fear of losing their lives in a possible explosion.
It is, however, not known what sparked the fire on the fuel tanker.
