President John Mahama has taken seven-day leave, according to a statement from Flagstaff House.
According to the statement, the president will, however, during the leave period honour some pre-scheduled bilateral engagements.
The President will return to work on August 3, 2015.
The last time the President took a break from work was in December 2013.
