Sharaf Mahama, son of Ghana’s President John Mahama, says he will consider playing football as a profession if the opportunity presents itself.
The 22-year-old, who studies in Dubai, featured in last Saturday’s testimonial match for ex-Ghana captain Stephen Appiah.
“If football presents itself, why not (I’ll consider becoming a professional soccer player),’ he told GTV’s Kwabena Yeboah after the game on Saturday.
In March this year, Sharaf was spotted in the stands to support UAE-based Asamoah Gyan play in a league match for his club Al Ain.
