Blakk Rasta to appear before privileges committee over wee remarks
Accra-based radio presenter and reggae musician Mr. Abubakar Ahmed aka Blakk Rasta has been summoned to appear before the Privileges Committee of Parliament for comments made that suggest 80 percent of Ghanaian parliamentarians smoke wee.
In a letter signed by Ebenezer Ahumah Djietror, Prinicpal Assistant Clerk, the presenter is expected to appear as a witness before the Committee to assist in the investigation of contemptuous remarks allegedly made.
Blakk Rasta appears before the Committee on Thursday, June 25 2015 at 13:00GMT. The meeting holds at the Committee Rooms 1&2, New Administration Block, Parliament House, Accra.
