Golden Movies Awards will have Eazzy and Irene on stage
Afro Pop artiste, Eazzy has been billed to perform at the maiden edition of the Golden Movie Awards on Sarurday, 27 June at the Banquet Hall, State House, Accra.
The sultry singer will share the stage with Irene Logan at the event which seeks to reward outstanding actors from six African countries- Nigeria, Ghana, Tanzania, Kenya, Zimbabwe and South Africa for their works in the year under review.
Eazzy over the years has been known for her sexy outfits on stage, her impeccable dance moves and her over all energetic persona on stage.
The Wengeze hitmaker, real name, Mildred Ashong in an interview with Showbiz revealed she would be delivering her best performance yet, with electrifying dance moves.
Eazzy added “I am always looking forward to see my fans and this is another opportunity for me to do just that and they should expect a splendid performance.”
The star has caused some waves with her latest tracks, Ginger and Something Lost, and has had her fans anxiously waiting to see her perform them live.
“A lot of my fans have been anxiously waiting for my live performance of Ginger, Scream, Something Lost and many more and that’s exactly what they would be getting.”
Mildred urges all her fans, whom she refers to as Rangers to turn up at the event for a showdown.
The Golden Movie Awards organised by NMJ Ghana will see 28 awards in various categories go deserving stakeholders in the Africa film industry.
According to the organisers, the star-studded event is expected to be an exciting one. The event will be preceded with a pre-nominee cocktail party at the Oak Plaza hotel on Friday, June 26.
The Golden Movie Awards is sponsored by Surfline, Oak Plaza Hotel, UNAIDS, SLEEK Make Up, Africa Women’s Development Fund(AWDF ), 8 Ball Adcrew and Jack Daniels.
