Man leaves trail of destruction at GCB's Kejetia branch

Normal operations have resumed at Ghana Commercial Bank’s Kejetia branch after a man, who is believed to be mentally unstable, launched an attack on the premises, destroying and damaging property.

The glass for the main entrance to the banking hall, which was completely damaged, has now been replaced. Blood stains which covered a wide area of the floor of the banking hall have now been mopped up. A bank vehicle whose window was smashed to pieces has since been taken away for repairs.
The bank’s authorities are yet to make public what the costs for repair will be.
The identity of the intruder still remains unknown, and police are continuing with investigations.
