Police recruitment scam: Timbilla’s signature to undergo forensic testing
The signature of indicted Director-General of the Human Resource Department of the Ghana Police Service, COP Patrick Timbilla is to be subjected to a forensic examination.
COP Timbilla was implicated in a recent police recruitment scam.
Hundreds of people thronged five police training depots for enlistment into the Ghana Police Service, however, the purported enlistment turned out to be scam.
Their admission letters were said to have carried the signature of COP Timbilla.
Meanwhile, a Special Police Task Force set up to investigate the matter indicted 14 people including three serving officers.
