Reggie Rockstone gives $5k to DJ Breezy after studio burglary

Hiplife ‘Grandpa’ Reggie Rockstone has donated an amount of $5,000 to support 2015 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) Producer of the Year after thieves broke into his studio Saturday night.
The incident happened while DJ Breezy, as he is popularly known, was at the music awards at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) Saturday night.
The thieves made away with valuables running into thousands of cedis.
Known to be the man behind several hit songs, including ‘Seihor’, ‘Personal Person’, and ‘Tonga’, DJ Breezy, was adjudged the best producer in Ghana at the Industry Awards of the 16th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards last Monday.
“As we were at the awards, thieves broke into the studio and my room, took everything from my MacBook Pro retina display, laptop, iMac, studio computer, hard drive, flat screens, my bag with my ATM cards and other vital documents, sneakers and so many other things,” he said.
“I can say I’m back to zero again!!!” the producer, who is signed to D-Black’s Black Avenue Music added that his beats and yet-to-be-released works are all gone.

Reggie Rockstone, who was clearly disturbed by the unfortunate development, disclosed on Twitter    that he will be contributing his widow’s mite to get DJ Breezy back on his feet.
“This is my son’s studio after da bloodclaat teefs dem go rob der! gh be small and so i am putting up five gee dollar [$5,000]…,” he said.
DJ Breezy produced VVIP’s, of which Reggie is a member, hit song ‘Selifie’. The group won Best Group at this year’s VGMA.
